New partner appointed to private client team at Boodle Hatfield

Now 13 partners in the private client team following recent promotions.
Boodle Hatfield, the leading private wealth law firm has appointed Matthew Bennett, as partner in its growing private client and tax practice. Matthew joins from Fladgate LLP where he was also a partner.
Matthew advises both UK and international individuals and families on the management of their legal, personal and tax affairs. Much of his work includes advising on trusts and other asset holding structures. His client base ranges from entrepreneurs and company directors, to authors and artists.
Matthew also advises UK and overseas trustees and other fiduciaries on their duties and responsibilities and particular aspects of trust law. He acts as executor and as trustee for his clients and for a number of charitable trusts.
Matthew is also qualified as a chartered tax adviser and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He has been recognised as an expert in his field by Chambers UK and Legal 500.
Boodle Hatfield’s private client and tax practice, one of the market’s leading providers, has grown in recent months, with the promotion of two partners in May.
