Boodle Hatfield advises Skyports Infrastructure as they unveil plans for UK’s vertiport testbed for air taxi industry

Boodle Hatfield has advised Skyports Infrastructure, the leading provider of infrastructure for the advanced air mobility industry, on an agreement with Bicester Motion to establish a passenger vertiport terminal, being the first in the UK.

The new vertiport testbed will be a critical facility for testing ground infrastructure and flight operations and will serve as a central hub for the UK’s advanced air mobility industry.

Boodle Hatfield has advised on negotiating an agreement for the lease for the land. This significant project will pave the way for next the generation of electric, low noise, automated aviation in the UK. The transaction was led by Commercial Real Estate Senior Associate, Sophie Henwood.
