In this episode, Julie Howard a Private Wealth Partner specialising in tax and estate planning for individuals, families and trusts, is joined by Dr. Namukale Chintu. Namukale is the Founder and Managing Director of Frontier Market Consultants and Non-Executive Director on the boards of Invesco UK and Invesco Asset Management Ltd. She has built a demonstrable track record in wealth management, asset management and capital markets with deep expertise and extensive networks in governance and regulation, UHNW and family office concierge, sustainability and ESG, capital raising and product strategy. She has previously assumed the senior roles at EFG Private Bank, UBS Wealth Management, Syntaxis Capital, Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. As Rhodes Scholar, Dr Chintu serves as National Secretary for the Rhodes Scholarship in Zambia that sponsors young talented Zambians to study at the University of Oxford. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, where she also taught on the school’s Executive MBA programme and also holds two MScs in Financial Economics and Management Research and a BA in Economics. Alongside all of these remarkable career achievements, Namukale is also a mother and in the episode we focus our conversation on dynamics of wearing two hats. We discuss some of the highs and lows of juggling your career and a child, we will talk through some of the different structuring models for combining work with family life and the importance of these discussions in inspiring the next generation of female leaders.
