Boodle Hatfield appoints new partner to Real Estate team

Boodle Hatfield, the leading private wealth law firm, has appointed Rajeev Joshi as partner in its Real Estate team. Rajeev joins Boodle Hatfield on 28th May 2019 from international law firm K&L Gates where he was also a partner.
Rajeev has over a decade of experience in advising institutional investors and high net worth individuals, both in the UK and overseas, on real estate transactions. He frequently advises clients on real estate secured lending contracts as well as acquisitions and disposals of high value portfolios of investment properties.
Rajeev has a particular specialism in the hotel sector, where he regularly advises on the acquisition, development, and financing of hotels.
Examples of Rajeev’s work include:
- Advising the owner of one of London’s leading luxury hotels on its refinancing
- Sales of distressed hotel assets on behalf of administrators and receivers
- Acting for a major UK bank on the financing of a data centre and residential development site
- Advising a HNW client on development works to their prime central London properties
