Real Estate Finance
Your experts
We help the firm’s property, corporate and private wealth clients with their financing requirements, large or small.
We work closely with our real estate, construction, corporate, tax and wealth structuring colleagues to deliver a financing that fits the transaction and enables our clients to achieve their commercial objectives.
For our developer and investor clients, we help them navigate the often long, complex and voluminous paperwork that documents the modern financing, ensuring that the pieces of the jigsaw fit together. The key to a successful completion is to identify as early as possible the issues that affect timing, and to press hard to get them. Professional reports, insurance brokers’ letters and collateral warranties often fall into this category.
When acting for funders, we offer a personal service, delivering on time and without drama. We act for clients at every level in the capital stack, so we understand the different pressures for bridge, investment and development facilities, and are accustomed to negotiating intercreditor arrangements from senior and mezzanine positions, on both structural and contractual bases. We also help clients with balance sheet management, selling down portions of their debt and/or sub-participating to institutions and private investors.
