Andrew’s practice covers all aspects of commercial property, but with a particular emphasis on development and investment projects for family offices, landed estates, and other private capital entities. He has extensive experience of advising landowners on the development of strategic land, and UK and overseas entities on investment and development projects within Central London. He manages the investment portfolios of several family-owned property companies and regularly acts for both borrowers and lenders on the real estate aspects of property finance transactions. Andrew worked at Slaughter and May and Linklaters before joining Boodle Hatfield in 2003, becoming a partner in 2006.
Andrew's recent projects
- A joint venture between PMB Holdings and AREA Property Partners on the acquisition refinancing and refurbishment of 8 Fenchurch Place in the City.
- Acting for a family office on the provision of bridging and development finance for the development of a substantial data centre in London's Docklands, and on the re-organisation of the asset prior to its recent successful sale.
- Acting for a private investor on the recent lettings to White Cube of its new gallery space in Bermondsey and to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant business of the new Union Street Café in Bermondsey.
- Acting for an offshore client on a development facility for the refurbishment of a significant listed house in inner London.
- Acting for a UK property fund on its first three acquisitions in the industrial sector across the Midlands.

- Organised and spoke at the firm's 2011 West End property conference co-hosted with Cushmans & Wakefield.
