Written by

Boodle Hatfield LLP acted on the sale of the virtual freehold interest in the Medical Centre at 19A Cavendish Square, let to The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, to Medical Property Trust for £50 million.

19A Cavendish Square forms part of the iconic Harcourt House development of 25 luxury apartments and the Medical Centre. Working with Centreland, Boodle Hatfield have been involved in every aspect of the project since the building was acquired in 2013, including acting on funding, construction and on the prelet of the Medical Centre to Royal Marsden.

Andrew Wilmot-Smith, Sophie Henwood, Sara Maccallum and John Wevill represented the developers. Pinsent Mason (Tom Eastwood and Holly Smith) acted for MPT.

Lead partner Andrew Wilmot-Smith said ‘This sale has been a complex project requiring significant coordination and planning across the team, and it is very satisfying to be able to see it all the way through to completion.”
