Finalist in the Women and Diversity in Law Awards 2023

We are delighted to announce that two female partners from Boodle Hatfield's Divorce and Real Estate practices have been shortlisted for the Women and Diversity in Law Awards 2023.

Partner and Head of Family, Emily Brand and Residential Property Partner, Shaima Jillood have respectively been penned as ‘Disputes Lawyer of the Year’ and ‘Dealmaker of the Year’ in the line-up of diversity, equity and inclusion champions.

The 150 strong list are competing across 33 categories that seek to identify exceptional female leaders and practitioners as well as the legal businesses, teams and individuals that are moving the needle across all the strands of diversity and inclusion, which include disability, LGBT+, mental health and wellbeing, race equality, and social mobility. Hosted by The Global Legal Post, the inaugural Women and Diversity in Law Awards will serve as a showcase for people working within the UK legal sector who are dedicating their professional careers to improve diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) using their positions of influence to help facilitate change.
