Boodle Hatfield has unveiled its impressive financial results, as first reported by The Lawyer.

Firm announcement

Boodle Hatfield, the leading private capital firm, has today announced a year of extraordinary growth, reporting a circa 20% boost in revenue to £43.1m for the 2024-25 financial year. This result is a record financial milestone in the firm's history following a period of sustained growth.  Revenue has risen by over 45% and net profit has increased by over 50% in the last five years, with PEP estimated to exceed £900,000.

This is the firm's first full twelve-month financial year since adjusting its year end to align with the tax year in FY 2023/24, when extrapolated revenue was just over £36m.

Commenting on the results, Senior Partner, Andrea Zavos, said:

"We have concluded another successful financial year marked by double-digit growth. These results reflect strong activity levels across all of our core practice groups but in particular in our Private Client and Tax team, which delivered revenue growth of 30%.

These results evidence our ability to win and deliver excellent work for our clients.  The firm has delivered sustainable and consistent financial growth over the last ten years, against a backdrop of global socioeconomic challenges.  As we continue to grow, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide unparalleled service, expertise and solutions to our clients and are committed to attracting, retaining and developing the best legal talent"

As part of its 5-year strategy, Boodle Hatfield continues to invest in its people and its infrastructure. The firm strengthened its Family team with the hire of William Rollin, who joined from Charles Russell Speechlys, and the recent hire of Aleem Khan, joining as Partner from Howard Kennedy to the Real Estate practice. The promotions of Sophie Henwood in Real Estate and Fred Clark in Corporate, both of whom began their careers as trainees at the firm, reflects the firm’s commitment to organic as well as lateral growth.

Last year saw the introduction of a new fee earner and firmwide bonus scheme, further enhancing their benefits offering, while significant investments in its IT infrastructure and technologically driven operations, reinforce the firm's ability to provide cutting-edge legal solutions to clients.
