Tom advises senior executives, employers and partnerships on the full spectrum of employment and workplace issues.

Known for his practical and commercially focused approach, he helps clients navigate challenging situations ranging from executive departures and workplace disputes to strategic business change.

His practice encompasses employment tribunal litigation, executive exits, employee competition disputes, partnership and LLP matters, workplace investigations, restructurings and redundancies, regulatory issues, and the employment aspects of corporate transactions. Tom is particularly recognised for his expertise in employee competition and confidential information disputes, including matters involving post-termination restrictions, team moves and cross-border issues.

Tom acts for both employees and employers on a wide range of employment matters. He advises senior executives, board members and business leaders on complex employment matters, often involving sensitive departures, discrimination and whistleblowing claims, share schemes, carried interest arrangements and regulatory considerations. He also works closely with employers on workforce disputes, strategic HR issues, investigations, restructuring projects and employment risk management.

Alongside his domestic practice, Tom has experience advising on cross-border employment matters and has developed an international referral network through his longstanding involvement in the employment law community. He is a member of the International Committee of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and serves on the Editorial Committee of the Tech Disputes Network.
