Boodle Hatfield advises Millemont Capital Partners on a series of UK hotel acquisitions

Boodle Hatfield, the leading private wealth and real estate law firm, has advised Millemont Capital Partners on a series of significant hotel acquisitions completed in 2026, further strengthening its credentials in the hospitality sector.
Most recently, Boodle Hatfield advised Millemont Capital Partners on its acquisition of the Courtyard by Marriott Oxford City Centre, continuing a growing relationship with the client and demonstrating the firm’s experience advising on complex transactions within the UK hotel market.
Earlier in the year, the firm also advised on the acquisition and financing of the Crowne Plaza Marlow Hotel and Crowne Plaza Reading Hotel, two high-quality, full-service hotels comprising approximately 350 keys. This includes the purchase of Marlow Star Limited and Reading Star Limited (two Isle of Man based property owning companies), together with their UK operating companies, as part of a significant cross-border transaction valued at approximately £80 million.
Boodle Hatfield led on the acquisition of the companies and advised on the negotiation of the underlying English law transaction documents. The team worked alongside fellow TAG Alliances member DQ Advocates, who advised on the Isle of Man aspects.
