Boodle Hatfield, the leading private wealth and real estate law firm, has announced the arrival of two new Partners, welcoming Neil Biswas to its Real Estate team from Trowers & Hamlins and David Davies to its Corporate & Commercial team from Kingsley Napley.
Neil brings over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and development across both the private and public sectors, with a particular focus on the London market. His extensive expertise encompasses social housing and regeneration, industrial and mixed-use development, joint ventures, and complex funding structures, with a strong emphasis on the financing of major schemes.
Highly regarded as a leader in the social housing investment and development market, Neil has advised many of the sector’s largest investors including UK and international developers, social housing investors, regeneration specialists, investment funds, and end users across a broad spectrum of property asset classes. He will play a key role in spearheading the firm's ongoing investment into the living sector.
Joining from Kingsley Napley, David brings a broad range of corporate expertise developed through his work with owner-managed businesses, family offices, international investors, entrepreneurs, venture-backed companies and management teams.
With significant experience in the technology sector and a strong interest in the ESG-driven impact economy, David advises on a full spectrum of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, IPOs, public and private fundraising, corporate restructuring, governance matters, LLPs and partnership matters.
These key appointments enhance Boodle Hatfield’s capability in handling large-scale, strategically complex real estate transactions and across all areas of corporate and commercial work. The news follows a strong year of growth for the firm, where revenue increased by 20% to reach £43.1m – marking ten years of sustained financial growth for the firm.
Andrea Zavos, Senior Partner at Boodle Hatfield, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Neil and David to the firm. The firm’s strong platform and strategic vision align perfectly with my focus on delivering solutions-oriented advice to clients across housing, regeneration and large-scale investment. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the practice.”
