The team was presented with the award at the first-ever STEP virtual awards ceremony on 9 December. The category, sponsored by Rathbones, was made up of a strong set of finalists, with Boodle Hatfield shortlisted alongside Carey Olsen, Foot Anstey, Forsters and Kingsley Napley.
STEP is the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations and the awards are widely recognised as mark of excellence, recognising private client solicitors, lawyers, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers and financial advisers. All entries are subject to a rigorous, expert-led judging process to select the best in the industry.
Andrea Zavos, partner and head of private client & tax at Boodle Hatfield said: “We are delighted to have been recognised by the Private Client industry with this award and a testament to the team’s hard work over the past twelve months. It is great to see Boodle Hatfield being recognised in this way and demonstrates both the quality of our lawyers and the work we undertake.”
The Judges said: ‘Boodle Hatfield stood out for their dedication to developing law through their case work involving the rapidly evolving definition of family itself – a complex and fast-developing area of law that requires true thought leadership as jurisdictions grapple with societal equality and modern biological science.’
