The Surrogacy Landscape Podcast – Episode One, The Law
Written by
The Surrogacy Landscape Podcast is a three-part series brought to you by the Family Law team at Boodle Hatfield. The series discusses the legal implications of growing a family via surrogacy, dispels some of the many myths, highlights the experience and looks at where we are now, versus were we may be in 12 months' time.
In Episode One, Family Partner, Harriet Errington is joined by Andrew Coutts – the CEO of the International Fertility Company and Barrister, Andrew Powell from 4PB. Collectively Harriet, Andrew Coutts and Andrew Powell discuss the definition of surrogacy and the science involved. Together they explain the current laws in place in England and Wales and how these differ to those overseas to support both couples and individuals looking to explore and pursue that often long awaited family.
