Boodle Hatfield has once again been recognised for its exceptional expertise in the Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) Guide 2025, securing rankings across eight categories in the Guide’s tenth edition, published in July 2025. The firm achieved six prestigious Band 1 rankings across core areas of practice, reaffirming its position as one of London’s pre-eminent Private Wealth law firms.

The firm retained five of its Band 1 rankings in Arts & Cultural Property Law, Private Wealth Disputes, Family Offices & Funds Structuring, Private Wealth Law: Oxford and Real Estate: High Value Residential Property. This year also saw a significant achievement with Boodle Hatfield attaining a new Band 1 ranking in Landed Estates, a category added for the first time in 2025, for which both of the firm’s key practitioners in this area were recognised as top-band individuals, reflective of their deep expertise and standing in the field.

In total, 28 Boodle Hatfield lawyers were recognised as ‘Ranked Individuals’, an increase of 5 from the previous year, showcasing the firm’s growing bench strength and leading talent in the HNW market. Of those recognised, 14 individuals achieved new or higher rankings.

The 2025 guide describes Boodle Hatfield as "one of the best private client firms in London", with "first-class professionals" whose "range of talent and experience is impressive", with "a genuine willingness to innovate".  The firm is lauded for providing "a very personal approach and touch while always remaining ultra professional".  The lawyers are described as "superb", "intelligent" and noted for their "exceptional legal expertise and strategic insight" and "fine commercial instincts", receiving praise as they "leave no stone unturned".  The team are commended for being "just a joy to work with", who "add a personal touch with the level of care".

Published annually, the Chambers HNW Guide identifies the world’s leading advisers to HNW individuals and families, relying on extensive client feedback, in-depth analysis and peer interviews. Boodle Hatfield’s continued presence in the Guide reflects the firm’s longstanding reputation for trusted, specialist legal advice delivered with discretion and care.

This year’s rankings follow Boodle Hatfield’s success at the Chambers High Net Worth Awards 2025, where the firm was named ‘Residential Property Team of the Year’. The firm was also shortlisted for ‘Private Client Team of the Year’ and ‘Art Law Team of the Year’ - further reinforcing its breadth and depth in the private wealth space.

Additionally, the firm continues to be recognised by the STEP Private Client Awards, having been shortlisted for the past nine consecutive years. For the 2025 awards, taking place in September, Boodle Hatfield is a finalist in two categories: ‘Contentious Trusts and Estates Team of the Year (Midsize Firm)’ and ‘Family Business Advisory Practice of the Year’.

The combination of rankings success, award recognition, and recently reported strong financial performance highlights Boodle Hatfield’s continued ability to deliver exceptional outcomes for its clients in the Private Wealth space. For more than 300 years, the firm has advised clients across generations on matters including succession planning, trusts and estate administration, family governance, divorce and high-stakes disputes.
