Boodle Hatfield achieves dual shortlisting in the prestigious STEP Private Client Awards 2025

Boodle Hatfield has been named as a finalist in two categories in the STEP Private Client Awards 2025: 'Contentious Trusts and Estates Team of the Year (Midsize Firm)' and 'Family Business Advisory Practice of the Year'.

The STEP Awards are among the most prestigious accolades in the private client profession, recognising excellence across solicitors, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers and financial advisers. Finalists are selected through a rigorous judging process, with up to five nominees in each category. This year, celebrating its 20th anniversary of the awards, STEP received a high number of nominations with 337 submissions across 25 countries, making the shortlisting a significant achievement.

In 2024, the firm was recognised for the third consecutive year as ‘International Legal Team of the Year (Midsize Firm)’, reflecting our continued strength in cross-border private client work. The firm was also shortlisted in two further categories: ‘Family Business Advisory Practice of the Year’ and ‘Contentious Trusts and Estates Team of the Year (Midsize Firm).’ The judging panel praised the firm’s “strong, experienced team, incredible international reach, and a proactive approach to attracting and securing new clients” and described us as a “one-stop shop for major international families.”

These nominations are a testament to the strength and depth of our private client offering, the collaborative efforts of our teams and reflect our continued commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients across generations and jurisdictions.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 18 September 2025.
