We pride ourselves on the welcoming and inclusive culture that the firm has built and retained over hundreds of years.  Within this friendly environment our Partners and staff benefit from working on a wide range of exciting, technical and high value work for our clients.

Whilst we work hard to produce high quality solutions and advice for our clients, we also strongly believe in work/life balance and strive to make sure that working at the Firm is an enjoyable experience. Our social and charity committees organise events throughout the year, including summer drinks events, Christmas parties, quizzes, charitable treasure hunts, bake offs and cheese tasting. If you are looking for something more energetic, we have a running club and a netball and football team and if you are looking for something slightly slower paced, we have a weekly yoga class and a Christmas choir.  Several of our departments have also introduced their own weekly/monthly social events.

Wellbeing is something we take seriously and to support financial, physical and mental wellbeing we have a wellbeing programme which features monthly speakers on key topics, monthly time-to-talk sessions and has included a benefits fair, subsidised in-office massages, flu vaccinations and more.

We are also members of Better Bankside which is a non-profit organisation that supports local businesses and the people who work for them.  For us at Boodle Hatfield, we have the opportunity to take part in organised events such as pub quizzes, street work-out classes, CPD and wellbeing sessions and benefit from services offered such as free bike maintenance and so much more.  In addition to all of this, with a free Bankside Buzz card, our staff are eligible to receive discounts in local shops, bars and restaurants.

Our recruits

Lawyers
We are always keen to hear from lawyers who have a strong academic background, enthusiasm and relevant work experience. We offer interesting, high quality work from the start and have a healthy work life balance.

Secretarial
We have Legal PAs and a Document Production team who support the fee earners and help deliver a high quality service to our clients. All of our secretarial support is technically trained in the skills required for the work of each of their departments.

Firm Management Services
The Firm’s Firm Management services are key to the successful management of Boodle Hatfield. We recruit talented people in these areas to work alongside our fee earners. Our Office Services support is outsourced to Intelligent Office and all recruitment is handled by Intelligent Office and not by Boodle Hatfield.

Trainees
We understand that choosing the right place to undertake your training contract is key. We offer our trainees a great opportunity for a high level of client work, a focus on training and development in a highly supportive atmosphere in a friendly and successful firm. Find out more
