Simon is experienced in all aspects of commercial property relating to development, investment and letting. He has advised on two large city centre urban renewal projects for Grosvenor. The first was the £350 million development of Festival Place in Basingstoke and the second was the award winning £1 billion Liverpool ONE development. Simon also has particular expertise in the hotel sector, having advised (in the last three years alone) on hotel developments with an end value in excess of £200 million.

Simon's recent projects include:

  • Acquisition of The Berners Hotel for Marriott to be developed as an EDITION hotel.
  • The development of the former Avis Building in Mayfair as a boutique hotel to be run by the owners of the Wolseley and incorporating a habitable structure designed by Antony Gormley.
  • Development of a prominent office building in Mayfair with an end value in excess of £50 million.
  • Restructuring of office portfolio between a landlord and tenant with value in excess of £20 million.
  • Various buy ins for a major landed estate with aggregate value in excess of £50 million.
