Following a number of high profile will disputes in recent months, Partner, Nicola Bushby was asked to comment in eprivateclient on the challenges brought by multijurisdictional aspects of litigation and how this raises potential challenges relating to the forum a case is held, recognition of foreign rulings and conflict of laws.

Nicola Bushby said: “I can’t emphasise enough the importance of investing time and money to get it right in the first place. While it’s tempting to leave things to chance, this only increases the risk of a post-death dispute.
