Private Wealth Partner, Clare Stirzaker will be speaking at the Family Business UK Annual Conference 2025, taking place on 4–6 June at The Midland Hotel in Manchester.
Titled “The Family Business Recipe,” the conference will bring together over 200 family business leaders and stakeholders to explore how purpose, values, and governance shape the culture and long-term success of family enterprises.
During the session “The Holy Trinity (Onion, Carrot and Celery),” Clare will be joined by James Wates CBE, Chairman of the Wates Group. The session marks five years since the introduction of the Wates Principles, a landmark framework for corporate governance in large private companies.
Together, they will reflect on how the ‘north star’ of purpose now guides the six core principles, and how family businesses can move beyond implementation to genuine, transparent reporting. The discussion will focus on how to communicate governance efforts in a way that builds trust and understanding with all stakeholders.
