Our hotel development and investment projects involve major hotel chains. Our experience also covers holiday parks, multi-screen cinemas, nightclubs and restaurants.

Urban regeneration

We advise on major urban regeneration projects including the largest urban regeneration project in England, the multi award winning Liverpool ONE and other large projects in and around London and the rest of England.

Landed estates

We are renowned for our work for landed estates and have advised on over £1 billion of investment, development and strategic projects for some of the largest landed estates in the country. Our clients include the Bedford Estates, the Calthorpe Estates Grosvenor,and the Howard de Walden Estate.

Our lawyers are expert in development and investment transactions covering distribution centres, industrial parks, data centres and production outlets.

  • Liverpool ONE, the £1 billion, 42 acre, award winning scheme comprising 130,000 sqm of retail space, 160 shops, a multi-screen cinema and more than 20 restaurants.
  • Acquisition and development of The Berners Hotel, W1 for comprehensive redesign and redevelopment by Marriott. The hotel is planned to open as Marriott's new lifestyle boutique hotel brand EDITION in 2013 - the first in London.
  • Freehold sale of a portfolio of petrol station businesses to a well-known listed oil company.
  • Development and subsequent £53 million sale of a mixed use retail and affordable housing scheme in Haringey.
  • Development of a grade II listed Art Deco building in Mayfair into a luxury, boutique hotel featuring a unique habitable sculpture by Antony Gormley.
  • Acquisition and refurbishment of 8 Fenchurch Place, London EC3, a 93,708 sq ft City office building.
  • Acquistions programme for the Mayfair and Belgravia portfolio totalling over £100 million.
  • Sale of 15 luxury apartments in a 60,000 sq ft grade II* listed building, one of London's most prominent residential projects.
