Corporate Lawyer - London
We are looking for an Assistant Solicitor to play an active role in helping the Corporate team to continue to deliver a first class service. This is an exciting time to be joining the team and there are excellent career prospects for the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
Working with the Investment Funds partner, the focus will be on advising UK based investment managers and offshore funds on all aspects of establishing management entities in the UK and funds offshore, including corporate, tax and regulatory issues. A key part of the work will involve liaising with advisers in offshore jurisdictions to obtain authorisations and in advising on fund launches. The role will require a working knowledge of all these areas in due course, together with an enthusiasm to understand the commercial imperatives which shape each transaction. There will also be plenty of direct contact with our clients and the applicant will play an active role in our business promotion activities.
Experience Required
- Good working knowledge of onshore/offshore tax structures would assist, but is not essential on joining

- Highly confident, energetic and resourceful
- Minimum 2.1 degree
- Strong team player
