Corporate Lawyer - London
We are looking for an Assistant Solicitor to play an active role in helping the Corporate team to continue to deliver a first class service. This is an exciting time to be joining the team and there are excellent career prospects for the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
Working with all members of the team, the focus will be on transactional work, including private equity investments, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, as well as secured lending transactions. There may also be an element of commercial advice from time to time to service existing corporate clients. There will also be plenty of direct contact with our clients and the applicant will play an active role in our business promotion activities.
Experience Required
- Technically able corporate lawyer with between 2 and 3 years experience, probably gained with a City firm
- Good working knowledge of private equity invest structures and secured transactions lending beneficial
- Experience of business promotion useful but not essential
Person Specification
- Highly confident, energetic and resourceful
- Minimum 2.1 degree
- Strong team player
